Benton Welsh has been the administrator at AHC Cumberland in Nashville, Tennessee since February of 2024. Prior to becoming a licensed administrator in June of 2019, Benton was a physical therapist with many years of experience as both an owner and operator of several different therapy management companies based throughout the USA. Benton’s therapy career allowed him to live in many exciting and beautiful cities around the country and the world including Seattle, Washington, the San Francisco Bay Area of California, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Salt Lake City, Utah. Since becoming a long-term care administrator, Benton has been fortunate to work throughout the State of Tennessee. His love for the geriatric population and for other types of residents who call long-term care facilities their home provides Benton with rewarding opportunities to help make people’s lives better. Benton’s children are his pride and joy. He has a grown son living in Arlington, Virginia just outside of Washington DC, a grown daughter in Ft. Worth, Texas near the area where he was born and a teenage daughter living in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
