Social Services
A director of social services is on staff to offer residents emotional support and assistance with personal and financial matters. Our director can assist residents with admission paperwork, applying for Medicaid, social adjustment, discharge planning and more.

Meet the Administrator
With ten years of experience at American Health Communities, Kimberly Thompson’s 26-year nursing journey spans both hospitals and long-term care facilities. The long-term care “bug” bit her while working in her hometown nursing home, making her realize her calling. Kimberly is originally from Bartlett, TN, but has called Henderson home for more than 31 years. A Union University graduate (RN, BSN MSN), she is on the MBA path. Kimberly is involved in her church and loves camping, music, reading, and caring for a multitude of fur and feather babies. Married for almost 31 years to Darryl, they share three sons, a daughter-in-law, and a delightful grandson.
